• Contact potential clients to describe advertising opportunities; by cold calling, presentations,
meetings and business lunches or dinners.
• Work with Operation team to ensure that agreed ads are carried in the right place and at the
right time
• Track purchases and keep record of sales, contacts and deals
• Contact existing clients to arrange the placement and design of advertisements they have
agreed on and ensure an ongoing relationship
• Research client needs and explain the benefits of buying our airtime, responding to any
• Explain pricing costs to potential clients and negotiate a fee if necessary
• Account manage an existing client to ensure their needs are satisfied and they are happy with
the service
• Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products,
new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.
• Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing
reports, making recommendations to management.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Work to maximize sales and meet targets
• Deliver sales reports to management such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and
monthly and annual territory analyses.
